Temasek Foundation continues as Official Partner of WE AT Challenge 2026

WE AT, a Japanese-founded innovation ecosystem which aims to foster the growth of “Well-being” solutions and innovations to tackle global social issues, is pleased to announce that Singapore’s Temasek Foundation continues as an Official Partner for WE AT Challenge 2026, marking the third consecutive year of collaboration.

WE AT is an annual global pitch competition that collaborates with worldwide innovation networks on innovative solutions to address global social and environmental challenges. The concept of “Well-being” championed by WE AT extends beyond physical and mental health to encompass a broader spectrum, including daily life, urban environments, society, and planetary health.

WE AT Challenge is a global pitch contest, organised by WE AT, with the vision of becoming Asia’s largest “Well-being” festival. Since the inaugural event in 2024, Temasek Foundation has supported as an Official Partner, collaborating closely across various initiatives. This partnership has encompassed a wide range of joint efforts, including participation in the robust judging and selection process as well as connecting winning teams with the relevant networks and opportunities in Singapore and Southeast Asia.

In its third iteration, WE AT and Temasek Foundation will continue this important collaboration to ensure the success of the WE AT Challenge and provide robust support to participating teams across four tracks.

“We are truly honoured to welcome Temasek Foundation as an Official Partner of the WE AT Challenge 2026. Their continued support, extensive experience in supporting social entrepreneurs, and strong global presence are instrumental in helping us realise our vision. Together, we will further deepen our collaboration to accelerate the transition to a Well-being economy,” said Mr Itaru Yoshizawa and Mr Hiroki Fujimoto, WE AT Co-Presidents.

“Temasek Foundation is pleased to continue our partnership with WE AT Challenge for the third year. Asia faces increasingly complex social and environmental challenges, and we need more pathways for promising solutions to be tested, connected with the right partners and scaled for wider impact. Through the WE AT Challenge, we hope to support innovators in turning bold innovations into practical solutions that can improve well-being for communities in Singapore, Japan, and across the region,” remarked Ms Heng Li Lang, Head of Climate & Liveability, Temasek Foundation.

For the 2026 edition, Temasek Foundation representatives will participate in the second round and final selections for two of the four application categories (tracks): “Track 1: Planetary Well-being” and “Track 2: Human Well-being.” WE AT Challenge actively invites applications from all around the world, and Temasek Foundation will support this global outreach to relevant start-ups and innovation networks worldwide. Both organisations will also support winning teams in connecting relevant networks and opportunities in Singapore and Southeast Asia.

As an innovation ecosystem driving collaboration across industry, academia, government, and international partners, WE AT will continue to discover and support innovators addressing social issues, striving toward the realisation of “Well-being”.
