Presently, dragonflies are recognised as flagship species in freshwater conservation. In the urban context, they are important ecosystem service providers. The project will establish a dragonfly habitat at Jurong Lake Gardens, as well as investigate the predatory role of dragonflies on insect pests using innovative methods e.g. gut diet analysis.
