Propagation of Endangered Native Tree Species

Partner(s)

Temasek Life Sciences Laboratory; and National Parks Board

Temasek Life Sciences Laboratory and National Parks Board aim to identify species of endangered native trees that are important to our local ecosystem, but are difficult to propagate. They will screen and selectively propagate these tree species via tissue culture techniques, and reintroduce them back into their habitats through community mass planting in Bukit Timah Nature Reserve, thereby contributing to our One Million Trees movement.
