Flow battery technology is the safest option and will be the best choice to power grid-scale applications. V-Flow Tech aims to develop a 10kW-100 kWh flow battery to demonstrate the battery use in powering corridor lighting at an office building in Singapore. The battery will have a lower cost of storage as compared to lithium batteries, and a life-span of 25 years.
