To enable the arts to be more accessible for persons with disabilities, Temasek Foundation partners with the Singapore Repertory Theatre (SRT) to provide a range of support to the industry. Through the newly formed Access Arts Hub – a collective bringing the industry together to make more arts venues accessible and disability friendly, SRT offers training opportunities on disability awareness and Audio Description technology, among others.

Apart from audio-described performances to cater to patrons with vision-impairment, SRT has been making its performances accessible by including sign language interpretation for all its performances, and sensory-friendly “relaxed performances”, to cater to patrons with special needs e.g. autism spectrum disorder.
