The ANCHOR programme comprises the following components:

Enhanced Assessment and Coordination
- Conduct holistic evaluation of child and family, including caregiver mental health and family functioning, to identify their needs early and make referrals if necessary
- Timely sharing of information with partners or other relevant community agencies to enable more coordinated support


Home Visitations
- Health visitors, supported by medical social workers, psychologists and doctors, will conduct home visits to follow up on children with suspected abuse/neglect
- They will check on the child’s progress while supporting and educating the parents/ caregivers in the care of the child


Build Capability of Community
- Persons working with children with suspected abuse/neglect, including biological parents, kin carers and foster parents under the fostering scheme, will be trained to identify and support developmental needs and trauma-related concerns
