Primary school students from low-income families who show artistic potential can be exposed to, and enriched by an early arts education. Each year, up to 24 primary school students are presented with the Arts Development Award. With the annual quantum of $2,000, these students can attend arts enrichment lessons at various centres. The award helps to cover course fees, materials, costumes and transport costs. Recipients are also paired with a group of buddies from SOTA, who will mentor and support them in their academic, artistic, and personal growth.
