The CareNights@Morning Star programme aimed to help parents who need temporary respite from childcare in order to pursue skills upgrading courses or attend to family emergencies.

This first non-commercial evening student care service for children between 7 and 14 years old who come from vulnerable families was first piloted at Morning Star's centre at Bedok North Avenue 4 and operates from 6pm to 10pm, Mondays to Fridays. The evening service is modelled after the established day student care programme and includes homework supervision, structured play, enrichment, recreational and parent-child bonding activities.
