Singapore Anglican Community Services
The Employment Support Services programme provided employment support to persons recovering from mental illness. Under the programme, the Singapore Anglican Community Services worked closely with both the employer and employee to ensure a conducive work environment and proper job fit.
The programme provided employment specialists to help clients find jobs that best match their interest, ability and condition. Support was also available to help clients perform his or her job effectively and to remain in the job.
The programme actively engaged the business community to create awareness of the need to reintegrate persons with mental illness into the workforce. For the employer, support was made available to ensure that the person with mental illness was able to perform the job and fit into the organisation.
