This three-year Health Care programme will train 18 leaders and 33 specialists from hospitals in Vientiane and other provinces of Lao People's Democratic Republic (PDR) with the aim of imparting principles of best care in trauma emergency and critical care.

The training in Lao PDR will be conducted by the faculty from Tan Tock Seng Hospital (TTSH), spread over three courses, each lasting for one week, during the period of the programme. The course covers didactic lectures and practicum, bedside observation, and discussions on clinical cases; followed by a clinical observation stint in Singapore.
