This is a pilot programme to study the effectiveness of music therapy in improving the developmental and clinical outcomes of premature infants in intensive care unit (ICU). The music therapy intervention will be based on the "Rhythm, Breath, Lullaby" (RBL) model which is adapted to the local context. Sessions involve the music therapist working with the infant and parents over a maximum of 17 sessions. The therapist will also work with parents to identify songs that are meaningful to the family, which can then be turned into lullabies for use as therapy.

Data from the sessions will be collected to establish baseline standards and also at key developmental milestones.
