Many students from Northlight School come from families with challenging home environments. This puts them at risk of absenteeism from school and other behavioural problems. The programme enabled the school to organise activities such as overnight camps and workshops that engaged parents in the education and development of their children. Such activities contributed to building familial bonds and helped students to overcome difficulties they faced at home.
