The pilot programme seeks to improve the quality of life of elderly in nursing homes through equine therapy and study its effectiveness. This is a first-of-its-kind evidence-based study to validate the effectiveness of equine therapy among seniors.

The programme will benefit up to 800 elderly residents in nursing homes.
