Northlight School

Approximately 20% of Northlight School students have some form of learning needs. Most of the students are high-functioning and with some intervention, they are able to compensate cognitively and access the school's curriculum.

The programme provided more support for students with learning difficulties by allowing Northlight School to engage specialists such as occupational and speech therapists to assess the students and provide needed therapy. Teachers could consult with industry experts in cases where the students have autism-spectrum or other developmental disorders. The specialists and experts complemented the school's team of counsellors, literacy coaches and educational psychologist.
