The Singapore Dialogue on Sustainable World Resources (SDSWR) was launched in 2014 by the Singapore Institute of International Affairs (SIIA) to provide a platform for key stakeholders in ASEAN’s resource sector to share best practices and discuss new commitments and noteworthy cross-sector collaborations.

The 7th SDSWR virtually held on 3 and 4 November 2020 - “Agroforestry for Sustainability: Climate, Conservation and Communities in ASEAN” addressed topics on financing ecosystem restoration in Southeast Asia, sustainability in the resource sector in a post-pandemic ASEAN, and green policies in ASEAN towards a low-carbon future.

The 8th SDSWR held in 2021 focused on the recurring transboundary haze issue and broader climate action, including identifying opportunities to scale regional carbon markets through conservation and restoration of nature.
