These student immersion programmes between polytechnics in Singapore and their Asian counterparts encourage appreciation of diverse socio-political, cultural and technology issues via structured academic learning, TVET project development and living in a foreign community for the purpose of building bridges among youth in ASEAN.

The programmes seek to promote mutual understanding, build cross-cultural networks and develop leadership skills among TVET students with the potential to be future leaders in Asia.

In 2020, SCALE programmes were conducted with Polytechnics and Universities in Asia, in partnership with:
