The programmes provide training and development opportunities for academic leaders and staff for their professional growth. Teachers have benefitted from programmes to enhance their capabilities in using ICT in education, as well as their leadership and mentoring skills.

Academic staff are also trained to carry out action research to further Mathematics and Science education. For instance, a semester teacher exchange programme between NUS High School and Korea Science Academy (KSA) exposed teachers to different teaching pedagogies, assessment and research methodologies and values from a top science school.
