Trauma Network for Children builds on the success of the Temasek Foundation KITS (Kids in Tough Situations) programme. It sought to enhance community-based resources to adequately provide psychosocial trauma support for children and families in schools and in the community by equipping community-based organisations and schools with trauma-specific skills and linking them together in a trauma learning network.

By 2019, some 170 therapists in the community have been trained and certified in TF-CBT (Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy). Another 880 school counsellors, social workers, psychologists, community leaders, seniors and volunteers have received training in immediate psychological support

More than 2,300 children affected by various forms of trauma and parents have been provided with therapy and psychological support through the programme and another 40,000 people have participated in outreach efforts to create awareness of trauma in young children.
