A study was commissioned to study the nutritional habits of newly-wed Malay/Muslim women and the role of mosques in enhancing child development. The study will lead to a framework for a programme to be piloted at a later date. The study sought to understand the perceptions, attitudes and behaviour of Malay/Muslim women pre, post and during pregnancy in the context of nutrition.
