Supported by Temasek Foundation since 2019, the Young Sustainability Champion Programme (previously called the Young Technopreneurs for a Sustainable 2030 Challenge) aims to raise awareness, encourage, and inspire students to develop creative solutions around critical topics relating to environmental science and innovation, in line with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. 

The programme allows students between seven and 17 years old to get onboard Science Centre Singapore’s new online “I am a Young Scientist” platform and complete core sustainability-related tasks online. Participants who have successfully completed the programme will be recognised and presented with badges and e-certificates. Those who submit excellent work online as part of the programme will receive further opportunities and support in prototyping and design thinking, as well as participate in a boot camp and Demo Day.
