Youth Science Ambassador Programme

Partner(s)

Science Centre Singapore

The programme aims to increase interest and knowledge of STEM topics, provide youths with opportunities to make an impact in the community and build character values.

The one-week camp targets 100 students from 25 different schools and includes a series of training workshops, which equips students with skills and content knowledge for effective design thinking, science communication and prototyping. Students form teams who are mentored by Science Centre staff to tackle challenges addressing community problems. Science Centre works with schools to showcase the students’ completed projects at various spaces, community centres and libraries. Students will also present their proposed solutions at these venues.
