First convened in 2012, the Singapore Summit is among the foremost events in Asia bringing together thought leaders and global and Asian C-suite executives. It discusses geopolitical, economic, social and technological developments, and their impact on markets, industries, and business strategies. It is also a platform for ideas on deeper partnerships between the public, private and people sectors to be developed and shared. Attendance is by invitation only.
With Asia becoming a key growth engine for the global economy, Asia and the rest of the world are increasingly connected and integrated in what is often referred to as Global-Asia. Common challenges, interests and opportunities continue to arise from the significant increase in the flow of ideas, investments, talent, technology and trade within and between Asia and the rest of the world.
In light of the evolving COVID-19 situation and in the interest of the health and safety of our attendees, the ninth edition of the Singapore Summit was held online in 2020, from 14-17 September. In spite of the change in format, participants joined in the intellectual exchange and robust debate, with relevant and useful insights gained from the discussions aimed at fostering global, cross-sectoral dialogue especially during this uncertain time.
The Singapore Summit is supported by the Singapore Economic Development Board, GIC, the Monetary Authority of Singapore and Temasek.
